My research interests lie in robot perception and policy learning for reliable real-world manipulation. I aim to build robotic systems that operate effectively under practical constraints on sensing, computation, and hardware. In particular, I am interested in when a policy can rely on existing observations and predicted actions, and when it needs fresh visual feedback to perform a task reliably. More broadly, I hope to develop task-aware approaches that use sensing and computation where they matter most, and to evaluate these ideas on physical robots.

Outside of research, I love making coffee, so I built a little pour-over timer. ☕
